Why get involved?

If you have an hour to spare or you’re looking for a longer-term role as a volunteer, we offer a wide range of ways to get involved, from representing us at events, circulating surveys, or assessing the delivery of local health and care services.

You’ll be joining a local trusted charity committed to making health and social care services the best they can be, ensuring that everyone’s voice is listened to so that meaningful change in service delivery and design can happen.

Not only that, it’s a great opportunity to meet like-minded people, use our training opportunities to expand your skills and make a positive impact in your community.

Volunteer as a Community Listener

Our Community Listeners talk to people from our local boroughs and listen to their views and experiences of the health and social care services.

Healthwatch uses Community Listeners’ feedback to inform and influence the design and delivery of services, holding services providers to account.
