Some GP practices and pharmacies will be closed from 26-28 August, or offering reduced hours. This means it's important to plan ahead for health needs such as prescriptions. Your GP practice should have information about their bank holiday opening hours on their website.

Seeing a pharmacist is often a quick and easy way to resolve minor health concerns, and many pharmacists can provide confidential consultations. You can use this list of services to check which pharmacies are opening over the long weekend, or alternatively use the NHS Find a Pharmacy site. 

If you require prescription medication, make sure you have enough medication to last over the bank holiday.
