Resident doctors' industrial action - November 2025
Resident doctors will begin a strike this week on Friday 14 November and is set to end Wednesday 19 November.
The NHS will make sure that patients continue to receive the treatment they need throughout the period of industrial action.
All services will remain open. If you have an appointment on one of these days, please attend as usual; the NHS will contact you directly if your appointment changes.
Hospitals may need to adjust to some services and the way they run them over these days to prioritise urgent care.
Accessing emergency NHS services during this period
In an emergency, please use 111 online for physical health needs and 999 if it is a life-threatening emergency.
